This countertop ceramic water filter sits on the kitchen counter and easily connects to most any kitchen faucet, a diverter valve replaces the aerator on your faucet. In the regular position, water exits straight through its own aerator. When filtered water is desired, turn on the cold water and turn the diverter valve knob - water is then routed through the filter and out its own swivel spout. Great for apartments, dorms, RV's and travel.

Filter features a Doulton ultracarb three stage cartridge combining the highly efficient filtration properties of ceramic with the enhanced water treatment properties of activated carbon and the heavy metal reduction capabilities of ion exchange media.

First Stage: The first stage consists of Doulton sterasyl ceramic which provides genuine sub micron filtration. The cartridge reduces fine particulate matter, bacteria, cysts and turbidity. The incorporation of silver locked within the ceramic structure gives enhanced bacteriostatic and self sterilizing properties. Second stage: An inner core of activated carbon block removes chlorine and organic compounds. Third Stage: Ion exchange resin reduces lead and other heavy metals. All Doulton ceramic cartridges are bacteriostatic - that is, self sterilizing for bacteriological safe cleaning and handling

Flow Rate: 0.5 GPM for cold water use only. Cartridge rated for 600 gallons lead reduction, 1,000 gallons chlorine reduction (6 -12 months), can be cleaned and reused many times, Meets NSF Standards 42 and 53.

For cold water use only, includes two diverter adapters, spout, chrome diverter valve and housing wrench. 13" tall, 5" diameter.
