This countertop ceramic water filter sits on the kitchen counter and easily connects to most any kitchen faucet, a diverter valve replaces the aerator on your faucet. In the regular position, water exits straight through its own aerator. When filtered water is desired, turn on the cold water and turn the diverter valve knob - water is then routed through the filter and out its own swivel spout. Great for apartments, dorms, RV's and travel.

First Stage: The first stage consists of Doulton sterasyl ceramic which provides genuine sub micron filtration. The cartridge reduces fine particulate matter, bacteria, cysts and turbidity. The incorporation of silver locked within the ceramic structure gives enhanced bacteriostatic and self sterilizing properties. Second stage: An inner core of activated carbon block removes chlorine and organic compounds. Third Stage: Ion exchange resin reduces lead and other heavy metals. This cartridge combination provides: 100% rejection of cysts and >99.99% of pathogenic bacteria such as cholera, typhus, amoebic dysentery, ecoli, colibacillose or bilharzia among others. Depth filtration of particulates >0.9 µm (dirt, turbidity etc). In addition, a variety of dedicated fittings are placed inside the bore of the element to remove chlorine, bad taste and odor, pesticides, herbicides, industrial solvents lead and other heavy metals.
Flow Rate: 0.5 GPM (1.9 L/min) for cold water use only. Filter rated for 600 gallons lead reduction, 1,000 gallons chlorine reduction.
Recommended Change: 12 months or 1,000 gallons, whichever is sooner.
Recommended Cleaning Frequency: every 3 months or when water flow rate is noticeable lower (can be cleaned and reused many times).
Meets NSF Standards 42 and 53.
