Three contaminant-specific filters can be combined with our KDF/GAC filter in this triple configuration for specific problems: bacteria, high Chlorine or Chloramine, high VOCs, Fluoride, Nitrates or Sodium
YOU choose the two cartridges you want in addition to the KDF/GAC filter. Choose the carbon block for high levels of chlorine, chloramine and/or VOC. Choose the Doulton Sterasyl ceramic as a pre-filter to effectively remove harmful bacteria, such as E. Coli, Fecal coliform, Salmonella, Streptococcus, and cysts (Cryptosporidium, Giardia), and sediment. Click HERE to see performance data. Choose one of three other Specialty Contaminant Removal Cartridges, "Nitrate Removal Filter" , "Fluoride Removal Filter", "Sodium Removal Filter" to effectively remove Fluoride, Nitrates or Sodium. Select cartridge on top.
This triple unit setup is the best for Fluoride Removal which is removed with a Activated Alumina Filter our KDF/GAC cartridge will also remove any activated alumina that may be in your water after going through the activated alumina filter for ultra clean water.
Quick-connect fittings make installation a snap! All of our under counter filters are placed out of the way, under the sink. They connect to the cold water line with an "Angle Stop Valve" and dispense water through an attractive long reach solid brass faucet. Quick-connect fittings make for fast, easy installation. A 1/2" hole is all that is needed for the faucet stud (all series), but a cover plate is included to accommodate larger pre-drilled holes (such as a vegetable sprayer hole).
