This twin housing counter top water filter features our long lasting KDF/GAC cartridge (12,000 gallon rating) Kinetic Degradation Fluxion is a high-purity copper-zinc formulation that uses a basic process known as redox (oxidation/reduction) & Granulated Activated Carbon, PLUS a full Activated Alumina media cartridge to effectively remove the Fluoride about 90% from your drinking water. By contrast, "activated carbon" filters (e.g., Brita & Pur) do not remove fluoride.

This dual setup unit is the best for Fluoride Removal which is removed with an Activated Alumina Filter (it's aluminum oxide, the same chemical substance as sapphire and rubies, but without the impurities that give the gems their color (this is not aluminum), our KDF/GAC cartridge will also remove any activated alumina that may be in your water after going through the activated alumina filter for ultra clean water.

A diverter valve replaces the aerator on your faucet. In the regular position, water exits straight through the aerator. When filtered water is desired, turn on the cold water and pull out on the diverter valve knob - water is routed through the filter and out its own spout. Great for apartments, dorms, RV's or travel. Spout, diverter valve, and connectors are lead-free chromed brass - NSF-approved. It can be later converted for under-counter use with part number FK, Faucet Kit ($49.00).
