How KDF Filtration Works
The filter uses KDF copper-zinc alloy media manufactured by KDF Fluid Treatment, Inc. Water passes through the media on its way to your showerhead, reducing chlorine at the point of use. Actual performance and service life vary with incoming water quality and water use.
Compatibility and Installation
Before ordering, check that your shower arm and showerhead use standard 1/2-inch pipe threads. For best results, use a showerhead rated at 2.5 gallons per minute or less.
- Unscrew your existing showerhead from the shower arm.
- Attach your showerhead to the outlet end of the filter.
- Install the filter on the shower arm.
